What is adoption:-
When a person takes out from their family membership and they entering into a new family member with the certification from law means it is adoption. For example, “X” leaving his family and entering into a “Y” family with the certification from law means “Y” family adopting “X” to their family.
Types of adoption:-
There are five steps of adoption. The lawyer will involve in these types of the case only.

Independent:-
Independent adoption is generally happens when both the parents you mean birth parents and adopting parents find by their own try with the help of their church father, family doctor, neighbor, relatives etc., In this case the parent will meet the lawyer
after selecting their adoption family.
Agency Adoption:-
Agency Adoption generally done through some child placement agency. In United States, most of the adoption case will be done through this agency only. In United States, it is given licensed by State Department of Social Services. In this case parent meets the lawyer after getting a good adoption family which is selected by the agency.
Step Parent Adoptions:-
Step Parent Adoptions is involved in marriage function. The groom’s family adopting bride family with a bride as his wife. It’s also linked to divorce. In this case parent meets the lawyer after getting marriage or after getting a divorce.
Adult Adoptions:-
Adult adoption is a person who completes their eighteen year old person for one or more person. In this case, a person who exceed the age of eighteen then only that particular person is accepting for this adult adoption
Relative Placement:-
Relative placement adoption means when a child parents still minor, died or hiding somewhere mean the child is a force to be with a relative custody and the relative is the responsibility of that particular child. In this case, parent will meet the lawyer before 18 years of age.
How to become an adoption lawyer:-
First thing is once you choose the adoption lawyer field; you should have an interest in welfare of children’s. You need to spend most of time in family law. As an adoption lawyer, you always deal with government red tape, adoption forms and parental fitness and should not be emotional stress.
Need to study in college with major subject as liberal arts and humanities. Need to study more and more liberal law. Sociology, psychology or child studies are very helpful for your career.
Need to attend American bar exam. It will provide broad cross-section courses that will help you for your careers.
During you studying or after studies, you should work with a family agency or adoption welfare firm because of this you will get a nice experience.
After finishing your graduation, apply for the position with the non-profit organization or with family law firm. Don’t wait till the last minute. Take a bar exam. After passing the exam, you need to start your own law firm.
